Previous studies have shown that earthquakes, wars, even banalities such as lost match of favorite team can increase mortality, by increasing number of heart attacks.
Dr Rachel Lampert from Yale University in Connecticut with colleagues lead the study over 62 patients with heart diseases and defibrillator, or devices that detects inadequate heart rhythm and provide electricity covered in order to re-establish a normal heartbeat.
Patients were divided into groups, and they were given to answer questions which refreshed their memories of times when they were rabid. Doctors found that anger actually cause unstable heart rate.
