China Dinosaur

According to Chinese media, scientists have discovered 7600 fossils from 300 meters long cave near the town of Zhucheng in last seven months.

During the excavation scientists found remains of 20-meter Hadrosaurus, probably the largest dinosaur of this type.

Excavation will be stopped during the winter and researchers expect to be able to find more fossils.

Zhucheng is known as the "City of dinosaur" because their remains were found at about 30 locations, reported local media.

China has started relatively late the process of archaeological excavations, but in recent years Chinese scientist became very active in archaeology and found a lot of rare fossils. Some of them are smuggled outside the country and sold at extremely high prices.
